Question: Is this a hard drive or is this a case?
I am interesting in buying a external hard drive prefer 500 GB. to 1 TP. and i stumbled over a good hard drive by typing in “cheap hard drives” on amazon! It turns out that i dont know whether to buy this or not becuase i dont know if its a hard drive or case. Please tell me. Thank you

Question: external hard drive “This usb device can perform faster”?
Im having this EXTREMELY annoying problem with my i/o magic external hd, For some reason when i connect it to a usb2.0 port(tried all the ports), I get the “this usb device can perform faster if its connect to a 2.0 port” messege. Now, I know for a fact that this hard drive is usb2.0 capable because i have 2 exactly same model. and the other is working perfectly fine. at first i thought its vista’s problem so i took it to my xp laptop and still same problem. anyone who had similar experience with this problem?

I bumped down the hard drive to 250gb (7200rpm) because i heard 5400rpm could slow me down and i have an external 500gb hard drive anyway. also i changed the video card to 512 mb. Now coming out to $ 854… still good? @_@

yes this is a pretty good deal, but i would opt for a better video card since im a gamer but if your not one then don’t. this is a good deal 
Question: ANYONE HELP!!!!! Why does she do this?
The only girl i like and me message on facebook (cause we dont talk in person(im shy) ever, cept when i say hi). She used to message back all the time UNTIL she started in a relationship. That one ended and she started messaging back. Now she just got in another relationship and she has stopped messaging back again.
P.S. – she ignores me (online and in person) whenever she gets in a relationship. and when shes not in a relationship, she kinda acts like she likes me (looks at me alot with that “look”)
Why does she do this? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
P.S. – ive asked this question before and some people think that shes using me as a “backup”. if you think this is so, how could i try to chance that? (besides forgeting her, cause ive tried that and it doesnt work)

Your in the “Friend Zone”, your her go to guy when shes single. Or when shes get hurt from a break up. There’s no chance unless you get out of the “Friend Zone” and you gotta stop being shy, and talk to her more in person.

My fiancee and I have been together for about a year now. We have had more than our fair share of problems during that time…but every time we have done our best to work through them as we loved one another. We are not young…I am 32 years old and he is 37. But to be entirely honest, we have had A LOT of problems during the year we have been involved. We are both on the right track now and getting our lives together (starting new jobs, planning to repay debt, etc.). We met online and were best friends for nearly a year prior to ever becoming involved. During that time I was single and flirted. Since we became involved he regularly has accused me of flirting or having “backups” even though I long ago deleted my online profile and really have no contact with anyone but him and family.:S Now I am beginning a new job tomorrow and he has accused me of pulling away from him the last week or so. I have been trying to focus on getting this job!! He talks about the future but never makes a point of saying “we” or “us” when speaking about it. He has continually told me that he wants for me to be happy and if that means I find someone else then he is fine with it as long as I am happy. When I tell him that I love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him he often does not reply or gives me a generic response. I am not sure how to deal with his recent attitude toward me. I love him very much and do not want to give up if there is a chance but really, I have never felt less wanted.:( What can I do?? Do I try or do I just focus on my new job and give him his space?? Any help would be appreciated as I feel entirely too confused right now.:(
I think he is done as well really. He told me that he is not “banking” on me. And yet he says I can “bank” on him. Basically he tells me that it is up to me, he only wants me to be happy. I don’t need this stress right now. Really, he is so emotionally removed these days that I feel like a fool for expressing my emotions.:(

You need to make a move. And I don’t mean send her a sexy text message or facebook message.
Ask if you can take her out for coffee or hot cocoa. The only way to get comfortable around someone is to spend time with them.

Question: Help with an External Hard drive? “You do not have permission to open this file.”?
We got a new computer today, and are trying to use an External Hard drive to retrieve files from our old one.
But, when trying to drag files from one hard drive to the other (so far, we’ve just tried files with word documents and pictures in them… if it matters), it says
“You’ll need to provide administrator permission to copy this file”.
How would you gain permission, when it’s your file?
There weren’t any passwords set, anywhere on the computer.
Ideas?

If that hard disk is the one you booted from, try taking it out and connecting it as an external HD, and then copying files from it
Or probably you did not log in to an adminsitrative account
